Prague Shakespeare Festival and Classical Theatre Company present As You Like It and King Lear

The Prague Shakespeare Festival, Guy Roberts Artistic Director, and the Classical Theatre Company, John Johnston Executive Artistic Director, are proud to announce an exciting and unprecedented collaboration for Czech and Houston audiences and artists alike: rotating repertory productions of Shakespeare's King Lear and As You Like It, directed by Guy Roberts, starring Czech superstar Pavel K?íž and featuring a multinational company of artists from America and Europe.

Two of William Shakespeare's most beloved plays - Love's Labour's Lost and Romeo and Juliet, both believed to have been written by the Bard within months of one another in 1595-96 -- will be paired this summer at the 33rd annual Houston Shakespeare Festival, July 27 to August 11

J.T. Waite - who starred on Broadway opposite Frank Langella in DRACULA, and later played the role of Mozart in the Tony Award-winning play AMADEUS on Broadway - will take on the 'Everest' of great American roles for actors, Willy Loman in DEATH OF A SALESMAN, Arthur Miller's masterpiece, starting performances March 30 at the Wortham Theatre (at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for the Arts) in Houston. Sidney Berger directs DEATH OF A SALESMAN.
